Yep, I haven't been here in a long time, my "best" camera isn't working any more, so I am saving up for a new one, as I would like to start taking more pictures again... although I have been using instagram to fill the void to a certain extent!

So.. is it time to just get a flicr account?
Seriously I love dA, and I have been here for a few years now, but I really do NOT like the new ad layout they have gone with. Putting an ad right IN a gallery... totally detracts from anyone trying to compose a decent gallery with their own work... imagine an entire gallery of gorgeous black and white shots, and then a big right hand corner ad with a big purple cartoon and green flowers with a bee jumping around or something.
The banners on the top are annoying.. with the animations, but I understand they have to make income somehow, and if thats how its going to be; just keep the banner ads at
